Hi. I’m Rhys Tivey. I love doing laps at the foot of a waterfall and envisioning a world full of embodied peace and play. I have been playing the trumpet since I was 9 and then transitioned into singer-songwriter / producer in my mid twenties. I am passionate about the pleasure of budding and seasoned singers alike, ushering in juicier experiences of body and soul. Singing is bodily and a way of being.

This is a practice for the brave, those that know how eros is more than sex. Eros is life force. Feeling like our eros can move throughout our body and into our voice is power. Singing is an embodiment experiences. It is not just about notes or posture or performance. I love performing. It is electric and communal. How I learned to love singing and my body came from bringing pleasure into the practice. My study into BDSM, consent, power dynamics, shamanism, energy work, gender, dance . . . allowed me to see singing beyond the archetype of the singer and instead center personal development and pleasure - which just so happens to create epic art and community.
